In 2008, 10 year-old Keane Veran was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Four years of chemotherapy and hospitalization followed. And so did the inspiration for TellOnMe.
Through the pain, confusion, uncertainty, and fear, Keane benefited from the strength of his family and of strangers. They saw firsthand how charitable organizations and selfless volunteers provide vital relief, support and distraction during serious illness.
In 2011, Make-A-Wish granted Keane’s wish to meet President Obama and tour Washington, D.C. He left with newfound inspiration and more determination than ever to beat his disease.
Keane is now an ambassador for Make-A-Wish.
He is also the son of one of our founders.
Through Keane’s experience, we understand how deeply people feel for a cause that affects them. And how powerful and effective that support can be. Our aim is to promote and unite support for all charities by inviting people to do what they do all the time – enjoy quality, American-made fashion. So they can look good while helping others feel good.
